April 7, 2017 Blackhawk Transport announced the winners of the Children’s Essay Contest. The topic of the essays was focused on Spring Construction and what it means to the child that his or her family member is a SAFE Driver.
· Essays could be a written essay OR a video essay!
· Children were encouraged to submit a drawing to go along with their essay or show a drawing in their video. Children who included drawings were given extra points!
· Age groups included 4-6, 7-9, and 10-12
Prizes for each age group were:
$75 Toys R’ Us Gift Card for Best Message and Most Creative Winners in each age group
$75 Toys R’ Us Gift Card for Overall Winner of office entries in each age group
$150 Toys R’ Us Gift Card for Overall Winner in each age group
Every child received a $25 Toys R’ Us Gift Card for their effort and participation.
